Guy and Lizelle Van der Pol established OFSC in 2021. They are a dedicated husband and wife team with a combined experience of over 30 years in the aviation industry. After starting their careers in Pietermaritzburg, they travelled the world flying in a variety of aviation sectors including private charter, corporate charter and airlines across the globe. They have gained vast experience in Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
Guy and Lizelle have returned to their roots, using the experience they have gained, they aim to provide a unique and dependable Aviation Solution Organization to both private and corporate clients requiring air charter, aircraft owner operational support and aircraft handling services based out of KZN.
Guy Van Der Pol

Guy started his Flying career in Pietermaritzburg in 2001, operating a variety of aircraft for aircraft owners as well as a locally based charter company. In 2004, Guy started flying for an internationally recognised South African aircraft leasing company, operating medium size turboprop and light jet aircraft for various humanitarian organizations and world class Oil and Gas companies throughout Africa and the middle east. At the beginning of 2009, Guy joined the local South African Airline industry operating medium sized jet aircraft. Over the next few years his career progressed onto working for two major world-renowned airlines based in Taiwan and Hong Kong, where he gained experience operating large wide body jet aircraft including the Boeing 747 and Airbus A330, on an international route structure serving Asia, Europe and America.
Lizelle Van Der Pol
Director & Pilot
Lizelle started her aviation career in 2010 as a flight instructor and flying a C208 in Africa. In 2012 she expanded her aviation knowledge working in Operations Management, Quality Assurance and Safety Management. She then started flying for a renowned aircraft leasing company supporting humanitarian operations across Africa. Lizelle joined the local airline industry in 2016 and in 2017 she joined the international aviation industry operating out of Hong Kong for a World Class Airline. She has flown a multitude of aircraft ranging from single engine piston, twin engine piston, multi engine turbine to large jet aircraft including the Airbus A320 and the “Queen of the skies” the Boeing 747. Lizelle has a passion for aviation both in the skies and on the ground and has now dedicated herself to providing a personalized Aviation Solution Organization in Pietermaritzburg.
